Why I decided to get involved and learn from Empower Network

I am a women who is very passionate in what I do and how I do it. I have worked in the legal field for the past seven years, and I have been through hell and high water with what we call office politics. I find myself ready for a change.

For the past six years I have taken a liking in writing and I wont stop until I reach the top. I’ve recently started traveling to meet new writers from every genre and I love it. I was amazed by how many people have the passion to write. I am here to give the best information I can. I will never bullish you on what I blog on.

I started working with the empower network and they have showed me some amazing things about blogging and making a realistic amount of money.

Anything worth having is worth the hard work and dedication to get it.

As human being we see a small block in the road and we give up on what is just on the other side waiting for us, but we give up because we quit believing in OURSELVES.

It’s a new year and a new you. What are you going to do today to make a difference in your life. Where are you going to mark your spot to tell people your story and how you survived.

Byronesque, iconic name evoking romantic suggestions – that make me think about the poetry and a movie, “Gothic” by Ken Russell about Lord George Byron -, given to the virtual cathedral of vintage by its creator, the London Gill Linton which provides a bright answer to the culture of fakes and fast fashion. It is the first website focused on vintage, featuring editorials – as interviews with celebrated fashion designers who talk about their connection to vintage, homages to the lives and minds of the most important people in fashion history, inspiring to challenge fashion and popular culture mediocrity – along with the sale of womenswear and menswear coming from the best vintage stores and private showrooms in the world, successfully making concrete a catchy alternative for a bland consumerism.

Roberto Cavalli Opens Cavalli Caffe in Beirut by Tracy Ghazal

It’s a blessing to see another year. I hope you all feel the same way.

I’ve decided to put my dreams into fast motion this year, and become my own boss. It seems as if people have no appreciation for their employers anymore. Therefore, when you are your own boss you can give yourself all the appreciation you deserve, which makes you work ten times harder to live life to the fullest.

Anything worth having is hard to get, but worth having, I’m going all in; due to there being no limits to living, loving and enjoying life.

I’m working extremely hard on getting my novel done this year. I have been through hell and high water, and that has taught me a lot, which has given me a lot to write about and think about so here I go, and I am not looking back.

It has taken me years to put my middle finger up to what people feel about me. I’m Cilkee and I’m here to stay, and I’m to hard for the wind to blow me away, so stick around and learn to love and enjoy me.

I’m going to write about whatever comes to mind, some good, bad and ugly, but what would life be if we didn’t have good ‘ol drama around.

I’m new to this blogging, but it’s now or never when you’re ready for a new start and here’s mine.

I would like to thank everyone has believed in me all this time.

Cheers to 2013

Home Based Businesses and the good features of a Home Based Business

Day by day all we read about is how so many companies are downsizing to save money, meaning hundreds of men and women are searching for a new start. Having your own home-based business is a perfect start. Here are some of the good features of starting your own home-based business:

Be your own boss. How would it be to call the shots and not do the petty things your supervisor tells you to do when they could actually do their selves.

More time with Friends and Family. Not having to juggle your personal time with your working time. If you’re a parent this cuts child care cost down dramatically, if your child is under the weather you can be by their side to comfort them and have no worries about you falling behind at work because you missed a day, last but never the least you can take all the vacation time you need because you’re the boss.

Keeping the money you make in your pocket. Simple the harder you work, the more money you make; so you’re not waiting for the big guy to call you into their office and give you a fifty cent raise while their making their seven figure salary and you’re the one doing all hard work to make them look good and only making pennies on the dollar.

Less Risk to No Risk. Starting a home-based business it takes less start up money than a freestanding business. When your business is up and running smoothly, it’s cheaper and easier to handle than a separate business location.

Using your Personal Creativity. This is the perfect opportunity to use your artistic side to create the perfect cash-flow outlet for your needs.

Tax Break. The advantages of having a home-based business you can deduct part of your home’s operating and depreciation expenses on your home as a business expense.

Less Commuting Time. You save time and money when you don’t have to drive in exhausting traffic.

Many Opportunities. Starting your own home-based means you can create your own income-producing opportunities.

No Dress Code. Having your own home-based business you don’t have to wear a suit or a uniform. You usually do all your work over the phone or on the computer, so no dress code for you.
